Come See Us at the Clergy-Laity Congress in Cleveland

June 30, 2026

Our booth at the Clergy-Laity Congress in Cleveland, with hand-embroidered Orthodox priest and deacon vestments on display.

We are delighted to be exhibiting at the Clergy-Laity Congress in Cleveland, Ohio. It is a rare joy to meet the priests, deacons, and parish families we usually serve by email and phone — to shake hands, show our embroidery up close, take measurements in person, and talk through a vestment commission face to face. Please come and find us.

It is a real pleasure to share that Vestments and Embroidery LLC will be exhibiting at the Clergy-Laity Congress in Cleveland, Ohio. Most of our work happens at a distance — a priest in one state, a parish council in another, our atelier stitching a commission for a church we may never see in person. So the chance to gather under one roof with the clergy and faithful we serve is one we look forward to all year.

If you are attending the Congress, we would be honoured if you stopped by our booth. Whether you are a longtime customer, a priest weighing his first commission, or a parishioner exploring a gift for your clergy, there is no better way to understand hand-embroidered vestments than to see and hold them yourself.

When and Where to Find Us

You'll find our exhibit in the Congress hall in Cleveland, Ohio, [[DATES — e.g. July 2026]], at booth [[BOOTH # — from the exhibitor packet]]. Look for the table of embroidered phelonia, deacon's orarions, and cuffs — it's hard to miss the gold thread under the lights. Come by any time the exhibit hall is open; no appointment is needed, though if you'd like to reserve a quiet moment to talk through a specific commission, you're welcome to contact us ahead of time and we'll set aside time for you.

Why It's Worth Stopping By

A vestment set is a significant commission, and photographs — however good — only tell part of the story. In person you can:

  • See the embroidery up close. Run your hand over the goldwork, feel the weight of the brocade, and compare colours in real light rather than on a screen. The difference between machine and fine hand embroidery is obvious the moment you see them side by side.
  • Be measured in person. The single biggest factor in how a vestment hangs is the accuracy of its measurements. We can take a clergyman's measurements properly right at the booth — shoulders, back length, sleeve, and height — and keep them on file for this and future commissions. It takes only a few minutes and removes the guesswork.
  • Talk it through face to face. Liturgical colour, Greek or Slavic cut, cross design, monograms and name-day saints, lead time before a feast or an ordination — these are far easier to settle in a five-minute conversation than a chain of emails.
  • Meet the people behind the work. We are a small USA atelier, and we like knowing the clergy we vest. Put a face to the workshop, and we'll do the same.

Bring Your Questions — and a Measuring Tape Isn't Needed

You don't need to prepare anything. If you already have vestments from us, tell us how they've held up. If you're just beginning to think about a commission, bring the occasion — an ordination, an anniversary, a parish feast — and we'll walk you through the options and a realistic timeline. If you can't be measured at the booth, we'll show you our simple online measurement guide so you can send accurate numbers later.

What We'll Have on Display

We plan to bring a representative selection of our hand-embroidered work so you can see the range and quality first-hand:

Everything we make is hand-embroidered to order in the USA, in any liturgical colour, with worldwide shipping — so whatever catches your eye at the booth, we can tailor it to your church and your measurements.

Can't Make It to Cleveland?

If you can't attend the Congress this year, we're always glad to help from a distance. You can browse the full collection online, use our online measurement guide to send accurate numbers, or simply reach out with your questions and we'll guide you through a commission just as we would in person. But if you are in Cleveland — please come and say hello. Meeting the clergy and faithful we serve is the best part of what we do.
